Doesn't BF say it has to optimize stuff when you change settings? Well if you say change everything from high onto medium it should do that and I guess fix it? I dunno

Do you have the latest drivers, and did BF2 saying it was optimizing the map?

Try changing your shading thing to high or low or med and see if that works.

You need to change your graphics setting and restart battlefield then it optimizes the shaders.

You must of missed some stuff, like you have a 8800 and yet you haven't turned anti-aliasing on, by that i mean the phone-line in the screenshot is jaggy.

From the screenshot it looks like your playing in medium, you don't have AA or AF on so turn everything up high and then restart battlefield 2, you should be able to run BF2 nicely in high with a 8800 and a duel core CPU.

If you have that kind of a card, why are you playing BF2 in such mediocre graphics? Hell, I have a crappier card, but I can run better graphics lol.

I suggest for you to up your resolution. If not, then get new drivers and updated BF2.
