Help with name!

Sup peeps,i was wondering why i can't make a new name in BF2.It says the name is already in use,but when i look up the player,no one has made the account.So if ypu know why please tell cuz this is really pissing me off.

    The player may added a prefix on it :P like a clan tag in css

    Try making an account on AIM my real name was taken my real name +jesus was taken and I smacked random keys and that was taken.

    I've already tried that,but what really gets me ticked off is i put a bunch of random letters and numbers and it said it was taken.
